Why ARABIX?
The Islamic and Arabic world need to have an independent free and opens
source operating system, because :
1- An Operating system is the basic need to have independence in Information
Technologies
2- The Operating systems in place are very expensive, not open source and not
fully compatible with the Arabic script.
3- The service about administering, managing and developing Arabic applications
under this systems is very expensive and is a obstacle who prevents
universities, companies and all institutes in the Islamic and Arabic world from
following the fast of the IT.
How can we make ARABIX?
By working together. There are many Arabic and Muslim engineers in computer
science around the world. All this persons can take part of this work.
We can use the internet as a communication tool and make teems to work on
modules and we gather this parts after that.
What is it the first step to do
this work?
The first step is to build teems.
How can I take part of ARABIX?
By registering yourself in the list of volunteers in the ARABIX web site and
posting your CV by email so the central committee can place you in the right
teem.
